About jeremy jarratt
Hi, my name is jeremy jarratt (no caps - i'm that artistic), and i teach guitar. I first started teaching while i was still in high school, and have been teaching off and on ever since (mostly off). I play more than just guitar, but it's my main instrument and my true passion. Although i'm not a very technical or flashy guitarist, i do play pretty well. My specialty is what i like to call "harmony guitar," where i play along with the main chords but play inversions and altered voicings, which gives music a lot of interesting textures. I play lead also, although as i am fond of saying, i come from the Neil Young school of rock guitar - my motto is "If it squeals, smack it harder!"
